I haven't had psychosis, but given my bipolar, I guess I'm in risk (small risk, I think!)
But I'll certainly wait with taking phenergan till I've spoken with my psychiatrist! I'm happy with my gp and trust her very much, but her specialty isn't psychiatri, so I'll wait.

Don't suffer through sleeplessness because of my weird story. I can't even find that warning anymore although hallucinations are a possible rare side effect (but are on so many meds too). I didn't want to scare you off, just let you know it is possible. I've never heard of phenergan being used for sleep. I don't know why not but usually they use hydroxyzine (atarax/vistaril) first or drugs like gabapentin.
