you're right to be furious. whether my kid has AS or not, i would never let anyone treat my kid that way. maybe, you might want to go further with this complaint - like to a dental association in your state or something like that. i know it's frustrating in getting people to treat your kid right. my mom had to make sure people treated me right when i was a kid, since i was deaf since birth. so sorry that your son went through this. i'm sure it will be quite difficult next time. one thing for sure, i would never go back to that dentist. wishing you the best.
