Not sure what the cause of the divorce was, but sometimes when the relationship is really bad, it is a very good thing to get it over with & start a new fresh life. I would think that would be a good feeling to not have to be living with someone who isn't compatible. (I have been married for 32 years & just can't tolerate the stress anymore...it is going to be such a relief to be away from the stress, it's going to feel like complete new & exciting life).

It seems that I am the exception rather than the rule, but maybe it might be worth looking at the freedom that will come with signing the papers.....looking at the good points rather than just that is's over with.

I hope you will really do well & that you will have the strength to be an independent person after it's all over. This may not be the kind of support you feel you need, but sometimes we need to look at the situation we are in ....in a different light.
