Do you have social anxiety or you just don't feel like going out with people? When I feel down, the last thing I want to do is see people. It's draining to do so. I try to go out and do something anyways but sometimes the depressed mood wins. Sometimes, I'll fight my depression.
Don't give up! You can recover from depression! It takes time.
Keep on posting. Keeping it all bottled up inside isn't good. And we're all here to support each other through our good days and our bad days!
