The short answer is yes. My personality is very over the top when manic or hypo. Even if I don't mean to flirt, I will come across like I am. I love everyone and am so interested in everything people have to say if I'm manic. People interpret this as flirting, even if I don't intend it that way. It's gotten me into trouble a time or two.
