but sometimes they just don't seem to.

i guess... if i was in your postition i'd take that to be his last chance. if you do that then you know that he knows how you feel about it. and if he can't say something soothing / sympathetic / apologetic about then... i'd be looking for someone else.

but.
please give him the chance to put this right.
because it might be... that he has a different ending fo ryou.
