My son went through a drug induced psychosis about a month ago. He came out of it luckily without being put on any meds or anything.

Well yesterday he came home from work and was acting really strange. So I asked him what was wrong and he said the people at work are all playing mind games with him. I tried to reason with him and talk it through and he just got angry with me. He thinks ppl at work and even the customers are acting abnormal towards him trying to get him a girlfriend. He really thinks the girls at work are playing mind games with him. He was acting like he did when he was in that psychosis. At one point in the day he stood up because ambulances were going by and yelled, this is what I mean by people acting weird!

I was hoping today would be better but today he thinks our neighbors are acting weird toward him too. Just because they were making noise. I've tried to explain to him nobody is acting weird toward him. Does caffeine cause symptoms because the day before yesterday he had 3 cups and he normally doesn't drink coffee. Also since that psychosis he's been having a hard time sleeping.

He hasn't done any drugs since that psychosis and it was weed and this pre workout drink that led to it. The pre workout drink had just a whole bunch of stimulants in it. He wasn't sleeping barely and smoking weed and taking the pre workout drink before he worked out. I think his brain just gave out on him.

I have bp 1 and I'm just really worried this could be the beginning of bp or sz. Any input would be appreciated.
