Yeah, I knew you were aware of the story You're absolutely right--he may have just been feeling under the weather and told the receptionist to cancel his appts, and he (receptionist) just used "family emergency" as a catchall. Or his dog could have been sick. Or it could have been something with one of his siblings. Or anyone/thing really.

A big part of anxiety (in general) is the whole unknown...
