I agree with waterbear. Can you write a list of questions and bring it in to therapy? I feel better if I get the boundaries established (mine and theirs) as soon as possible.
With CurrentT, I said something like, "this is how my previous T and I handled ...touch, phone, email, where we sit, etc. I find ...helps me best. What do you think about that?"
I doubt you would be bothering your T, that's what he's there for, right? And you are the client, paying him after all. My guess is he's been through this before.
