I have asthma, too, so I double my dose of inhalers to make sure I keep my lungs clear. Because of my high blood pressure, I don't take cough medicines or other stuff like that. I get some nasal spray. CANNOT handle a stuffed up nose! Those two keep me going pretty good.

Oh, yeah! Almost forgot to share something my beautiful DIL taught me. She almost died of an asthma attack. When she recovered, she read up like you wouldn't believe! She found out that EXHALING hard through your mouth clears your lungs better than coughing. I've tried it, showed my youngest how to do it when he's had just a bad cough, and it really works! Oh, yeah... and snort... in... in your throat? That clears your sinuses when you can't blow. Of course, that gags me and I wind up throwing up. EEEWWWWWWW!
