That's TMI (too much information). eeewwwwww. I have only had an asthma attack once & it landed me in the hospital for 10 days....go figure....never had asthma before in my life & a dang forest fire got to me. I have had pneumonia more times than I can count so can totally relate to the breathing thing & clearing the lungs.
I have also found that when I have a stopped up nose, if I hand my head over the side of the bed & raise it quickly (I get a horrible headache....no), my nose starts to drain when it's in the sinuses just below my eyes.
I do like the ideas you have for clearing up the breathing....hopefully I won't have the need to try it very soon.
