lol. this sure is a funny thread. anyway, i have used tissue paper, i.e. kleenex, as corks for my nose before, and it works. not only that, i've used "tissue corks" in my nose when i had to clean up some really sick-stinky messes (i have a strong olfactory sense). hope you feel better soon, peg.
