Hello little turtle: I don't know about this stuff... I hear about sugar is bad for you... white flour is bad for you... this is bad for you... that is bad for you... & on-&-on... One thing I do believe is that the power of suggestion is strong. If one believes that something is bad for them, & they stop consuming it, they'll assuredly feel better, no doubt about it!

Personally I just try to eat a more-or-less balanced diet & not get caught up in all the latest food fads.
One thing I did read recently was an article in our local newspaper that talks about the fact that the brain requires large amounts of energy. So, when a person is tired, the brain craves sugar because it is a quick source of energy... for whatever that's worth...
