One thing I did read recently was an article in our local newspaper that talks about the fact that the brain requires large amounts of energy. So, when a person is tired, the brain craves sugar because it is a quick source of energy... for whatever that's worth...

thanks skeezyks---I worry about having pre-diabetes...I hear that if you have that ...you are at risk for depression and dementia and diabetes...I have enough depression already...I don't want more...I also don't know how much attention to pay about this....but I am a big worrier...
