Thanks for the replies. The suicidal feelings have subsided for now, it kind of comes and goes. However, I do feel very limited by my age in my ability to enjoy life and have a positive self image. Sure a lot of the things I would want to do are PHYSICALLY possible, but the problem is often more related to the self image. Things just lose their appeal when you feel like you don't belong. It is sort of abstract and I can't explain it. Also, living a certain type of social life becomes very difficult when very few people your age are interested and younger people don't really accept you as their peer. The fact is, people my age just don't seem to have the type of social life that is geared towards having adventures together and meeting girls and things along those lines. Also, take for example social games like mafia. Can you imagine people in their 30s getting together and playing something like that? I can't. Because people in their 30s just have a different mindset, one that I do not identify with. Is that really going to change in a couple years? I highly doubt it. Also think of the way people date. An example of the type of date I would imagine myself wanting to have with a girl is one where we sit atop a parking garage and enjoy a view of the city. It is just something that is strongly associated with teens and college kids and you rarely see people over 30 having that sort of experience. It is things like these that I am talking about.
