Dear Ziggy,

We just want you to know how much we love you. You are so fun to play with and you smell like lemon meringue. Your paws smell like biscuits. Your eyes are so pretty. We like it when your whiskers tickle our face. We always, always wanted a dog. We had Penny the standard poodle for 16 years and then she got sick and she had to go to heaven. We thought we would never have another soul dog like her. Then we met you. You are different and yet similar. You are your own dog. You are a wonderful soul dog. You make us so happy. We know God loves us because he gave you to us. Sometimes when we are together, I think Penny's spirit is with us. I think she likes you very much and is happy that you can keep us company. We love you forever, Ziggy and we know we will have a lot of adventures together. You are the best buddy ever. Ever!
