Latuda is awful at controlling hypo/mania. It's really meant for tackling depression. The manufacturers of Latuda tried to claim that it's a "monotherapy drug" (i.e., that it controls mania and depression), but research studies showed that the majority of bipolar patients who took Latuda said it did not prevent or control their hypo/mania.

If you're only on Latuda and Ativan, I would recommend asking your pdoc for an additional med.
