As you spoke of my search, I will say that I contacted a local teaching institute in my area and asked if there was someone in my community available and was referred to my present T.

You have a lot going on with just day-to-day life as well as going back to work and choosing a new pdoc/T; it is a lot at once and I have faith that you can do it.

I see you have also posted about male vs female pdoc/T. I think your thoughts about that are interesting. And as the replies show, we choose for a variety of reasons. Maybe you could 'interview' several of each and see what feels good to you?
