Hmmm, he certainly was being unprofessional, though I suspect the man is maybe in a bit of a state about his own mental health. I doubt he is planning on taking advantage of you or anybody else, but it is always sensible to have another person in the room in such circumstances, so do call and ask if you may have your husband there. Explain that you have a fear of being sedated and I am sure they will understand.
