Hello fxyfxy: I see you've posted this twice & did receive one reply to the other post. Since these posts appear to be your first posts here on PC, I will say... welcome to PsychCentral... from the Skeezyks!

I hope you find whatever amount of time you spend here to be of benefit.
As was indicated in the reply you received to your other post of this Thread, we here on PC cannot diagnose your mother. Anything we might suggest is simply going to be a stab in the dark, so to speak... just a guess. However, I will go out on a limb here, so to speak, & make a couple of observations. You mentioned that your mom had a brain virus 10 years ago & has since developed seizures. One of the hallmarks of traumatic brain injury is the loss of what are often referred to as: "executive functions"... the ability to control impulses.
We all have impulses to do things that we would not, under normal circumstances, want to do. However, we have the ability to understand that these impulses are things we don't want to do & we have the ability to not act upon them. Persons who have had traumatic brain injuries sometimes lose this ability. My thinking, from a lay-person's perspective, is this may be what has happened to your mother. Either the brain infection or the seizures, or both, have damaged the areas of her brain that provide for impulse control. As a result, she simply says, or does, whatever comes to mind. There is no filter. Angry outbursts are also pretty typical for persons who have sustained traumatic brain injuries.
So, having written that, I will once again emphasize that it is not our role here to diagnose anyone & what I have written is simply a guess. However I did, years ago, at times work with people who had sustained traumatic brain injuries. What you describe sounds familiar. Please, if you can, have your mother seen by a physician who is knowledgeable with regard to the treatment of seizure conditions & brain damage. I send you & your family my best wishes...
