I think that was very well said. It puts it in an order that helps me to see why a part might appear to be trying to hurt us but may just be reacting to a trigger and thinks it's helping. I think that is why internal communication is so important. maybe the most important. I still have parts who don't know exactly what another part is doing but we all seem to have a collective understanding of who we would like to be as a whole even though we are parts.
