You are right, we are all in need of these things. It is definitely easier for others to provide these needs when they are able to get to know us better.....with knowledge comes understanding....with understanding comes compassion......& a better ability to see people for who they are. Being able to express our feelings allows others to know us better & understand us better & the more we are able to do this, the better our needs can be met.
