Have that problem, too. It make the next day really tough. Last week I started using a meditation app called buddhify when I want to go to sleep, can't sleep, waking up, or some of the other categories.
Half of the time, I still have trouble falling asleep, but it's been a 1 hour delay, instead of countless hours, so I've gotten at least 7 hours of sleep, sometimes more. I don't know how it will work for me long term, but I'm used to switching strategies as they become useful.
