Hi Crowby
to psych central! It seems like you are ,aware of ur early warning signs and are feeling the beginning of an episode coming on.. i know the $$ issue can be awful..but if your episode goes full blown i think that could be worse! If you feel like stuff is worse then usual it is never a goid idea to wait to get help. Do you know who/ where the local crisis team in your area is? If not look online for behavioral or mental health crisis hotline and your city / state. Also your states .gov site should have a crisis line listed as well. That should atleast direct you to an 800 # that can direct you to the local crisis team. Just let them know whats going on and that you do not have a treatment team or indurance that covers MH. They usually see ppl the same day, either have you come to the office or sometimes they will come to your home if you cant get to them. They may want you to go in hospital for an eval, but not always, they can be extremely helpful in getting you started or adjust meds and being able to find providers that fit your financial means and hopefully get you set up with insurance as well. Be Well and Keep Writing
also if youake a short new member intro on the new memvers forum or repist this there, you will probably be more visable and get more responses. Also idk if you mentioned a dx or not but post in the forum community that you are most comfortable in, that you find other members with simular experiences. Hope you get lots of support and please dont wait to be seen by a dr.
