This is going to sound weird, but I was just now checking to see if my Mirena IUD strings were there and where they should be, and felt a soft yet firm bulge that was my cervix going down into my vagina. I know that a cervix comes somewhat down into the vagina but this didn't feel normal. It felt like the cervix was hanging too far down into my vagina. I am due to make an appointment with my gynecologist anyways, so I guess I'll tell him my concerns but wanted to know if this was anything I needed to get seen for right away.

I know the cervix changes depths and firmness as a woman ovulates but all the same, I'm a little concerned, what with my IUD and all. I hope my uterus isn't prolapsed.
