a case manager helps you to get the services that you need and co ordinates those services so that everyone working with you is in the same page. when you were assigned a case manager you should have gotten intake papers that tell you what your case manager does...
example a case manager for someone who has a medical condition that case manager talks with the person to find out what their medical problem is and helps them get set up with the right medical doctors and specialists needed to take care of those medical problems.
a mental health case manager talks with the person who has a mental problem, finds out what their needs are to take care of that mental issue and then helps them to get into what ever treatment options are needed ie therapy, meds or other treatment plans.
my suggestion is to be honest and talk with your case manager about any and all problems that are affecting you so that they can help you get the right services and treatment plans that you may need. example if you feel depression is a problem for you tell them, if you feel dissociation is your problem tell them, if you feel you have a conversion problem then tell them.... in other words share what ever you feel is your problems so that they can get you into the right treatment program for you,
