Well, it WAS dark brown. Lots of gray now lurks beneath its more recent incarnations.

Was dyeing it a 3rv and 4n mix that looked dark purple. But it's been too much bother to keep up, so now dyeing it purple (on gray, no bleach -- too much bother). Because (even with a demi) the gray's kind of resistant, we're talking a result of...

*Medium/light purple.*

Method to the madness. Demarcation and fade are less contrast to the natural gray, so it won't look as crappy when I'm depressed and can't deal! Or at least not look as obviously unmaintained.

Sorry for the long answer, but since it's actually motivated by the BP, figured it'd be worth explaining.
