Truly, the Bible says "By His stripes we are healed." Exactly how that healing manifests itself is completely up to God. It may take us a while to recognize it because we think differently than God does.

I have found that when I totally give up my will and my ideas, then I get out of God's way so that He can work HIS will. Wonder of wonders! It works so much better.
