Tomorrow is a new day. Clearly, your supervisor doesn't currently know what's really going on with your coworker, but if this continues to be a problem it will hopefully become clear to your supervisor.
If you have the weekend off, try to do some things that lift your mood. If I tend to have more crying spells, I am usually depressed. So my advice is to get lots of exercise and sunshine and be around people if you have people you like to be around. Caffeine helps me a LOT on depressive episode days, so treat yourself to a coffee or two (or three or four... if you're like me!
