I am taking Adderall and don't think I've ever crashed on it. And I don't think it's time released.

I took Ritalin once for a while and found it to be not as effective as Adderall.

Also, Wellbutrin (Bupropion) is used to treat ADD/ADHD. It's an anti-depressant and now has a time release pill. I've taken both time-released and not, and neither caused me to crash.
