So the guy ended up coming at about 9:40. He had meant to text me to come over at 10 instead of 9, but his phone had been dead all day. Phew! I was really worried something bad had happened. Thanks you guys for your responses. You're right that I shouldn't let people jerk me around. And I agree that it's strange he doesn't lock his door.
