I just got on a set of scales for the first time in... oh, I don't know, maybe 20 years? I should probably try to lose weight. The problem is that if I do any form of physical exercise my mental health suffers, and I hate my body and everything about it so much that I do pretty much anything to avoid thinking about it. I should probably just load a bunch of audiobooks onto an mp3 player and start taking walks. It will make me feel worse and I doubt it would affect my weight or body shape in any way whatsoever, but it'd perhaps be good for my physical health anyway. And if I am to do it, now is the time to start, when the world is all green and lovely and heavy coats and hats are not necessary.

I hope this post is not inappropriate - if so, please report so it can be removed. I think it's okay to talk about weight and the gain or loss thereof in general terms without mentioning measurements (which I couldn't do anyway because I only speak metric), but please let me know if I'm wrong.
