If that difficult manager treats you unfairly I would report her to HR or a more senior boss. It is unacceptable. I worry about my job as I keep having to take time off work. It is very stressful, especially trying to explain it to colleges and managers. The few colleagues I chose to tell are very supportive, in fact they visited me in hospital. However the current direct manager I have is very judgemental about these things and I expect her to find out about my mental illness soo. This scares me.
