Hello Crossring and welcome! Yes it is good to remember that even on a reputable site (such as this one ) online tests, quizzes and symptom checkers are not reliable. True Personality Tests are administered in a clinical or educational setting. They are usually 200+ questions, are actually not as cut and dry multiple choice as they seem... they were delvelped by experts and formulated by statations. In short, they are designed to trip you up in a sense. This is not ment to trick you but in fact it is for the purpose of calculating the underlying aspects of different aspects of your personality. Also they are not really used to diagnosed PDs although they can provide insight yo what spectrum of disorder that warrants further observation. The fact that you "tie" in two or more catagories is normal. People are complex beings we a mix of many aspects and traits. Depending on what traits you tie in can actually provide a lot of insight on how your mind views things, what kinds of educational and careers you may be well suited to, and also where your strengths and weaknesses may lay. And if they are seemingly opposite traits, while it might a sign of a disorder such as bipolar or borderline. Most likely, esp since you dont seem to feel that you have a disorder meaning you are not distressed by your behaviours and you are not suffering fom a losd of functionality in life... then tying in seemingly opposite or unrelated traits actually can be fairly positive sign that you have a healthy mind that is able to accept both the light and dark partsof your self
. But only a trained clincian can give you acurate results on what these results may relate to. I suggest if you want to understand the nature of these test more.. if you search online use understanding the... or history of.... and imput the type or model of test you took. Ive done this and found crediable sources that were both insightful andinteresting. A good place to get a overview is to use something simple like Wikipedia and search meyers briggs or 16 point personality model. Then google out from there.
hope this helps a bit. Also if you dont mind sharing.. Is it always the same two things you tie in? If so what are they?... just curious and may provided a better view of where or who to inquired about more personally specific insight...but totally understand if you dont want to share.
