I went to the local cat shelter to see about volunteering. So many kittys with no home. I want to help one out so bad. I filled out the application. The only problem is that I have to pay a 300.00$ pet deposit fee where I live. They do inspections so I could not hide the kitty. The manager said if I get a smaller caged pet that the deposit is only 50.00$ I thought about getting a hampster but dont know how to care for them at all. I had kittys in the past. Plus I have to bring up the pet issue to my husband. He will take some convincing but I think I will eventually get him to see my side.
