Accidental weight loss is very much a thing, . My dog goes through it in the summer, lol. She's so active that she gets SO skinny - to the point people comment. I swear, she eats! Same goes for my FI: He works outside and during the summer months his appetite is JUST not there so he drops about 15 pounds.

4 pounds in a year isn't accidental weight loss, though... That type of difference can come within 24 hours. Or did you mean 40 pounds? Anyway, 4 pounds can occur after a big bowel movement so although it's awesome you're down weight, but don't be heartbroken if you step on the scale tomorrow and see it's back.

PS I also know what you mean about hte segements! I love PC, but sometimes, I wish there wasn't so many choices to post in because half the time I don't post because of it!
