Thank you all! My therapist said he is emotionally abusive so I researched the topic to see if she is right. I found this article (Signs of Emotional Abuse | World of Psychology) and almost all of this pertains to my relationship with my husband and occasionally to my children. I can now look back and recognize he had many of these traits althrough out our marriage.
