Good question! I'm not sure of the answer to this, as I too, am still trying to wrap my head around it all. It's a complicated disorder.

I'm pretty new to Psych Central as well. I have been spending a lot of time reading forums and reading article after article. There is a lot of useful information here. It's comforting realizing that there are people who share the same symptoms. It shows that we are not alone in this!
