I did inpatient but it was decades ago. I hope you have a good experience. Try not to close yourself off, you'll get more from the experience if you're open to possibilities. I think it's great that you can get that kind of support and are willing to accept it. The first two days will feel awful and you'll want to bolt; don't. Stay until the initial panic has worn off, at least, and then try to get everything you can out of the experience. At the same time, let staff know if you feel overwhelmed because they can try to help you stop things from escalating. Good luck!
