Hey Rumbingal,
I know how it feels to be bored at work. Are there any professional magazines/websites that you can read online to do continuing education while at work? That way you're not totally screwing around but at least doing something related to you job. I know my job goes through insanely busy periods and then really slow periods where I wonder why I'm at the office at all.
It kind of sucks but I'm just happy to have a job that pays me enough to live on. One thing that helps me is making task lists and just go through the day checking off my task list...no matter how menial. I also spend some time chatting in the PC chat rooms to help me with the mental health support I need through out the day.
I hope it gets better for you. Maybe it's just part of the learning curve and things will pick up once you know more about the company. At least I hope so.
