Hello dwfieldjr: We never know what is really going on in other people's minds or within other people's marriages. From what you wrote, it sounds like you did what you can do. About all there is left, it seems to me, is to perhaps send the occasional e-mail, text or greeting card just to let your sister know that you're still here & still interested in maintaining a relationship.
