. I'm so with you on that.......I grew up in Los Angeles & remember hating living in the city from as young as I can remember (about 5 years old). I kept bugging my parents to move to the country, buy a farm....but no way. Then I ended up graduating from the univ & my career kept me in the city. Kept moving out farther & farther away into the desert.

I left there 9 years ago & now live on my own little 10 acre farm with woods & stream & wildlife just outside of the oldest town in Kentucky. Surrounded by history way beyond anything I have experienced other than my visit to Rome. I love the colorful history of the area I'm living in....& I don't even have to vacation here.....I live here 24/7. Finally I'm where I always wanted to be all my life. Never thought that would happen. There are so many historical places to explore around here one doesn't have to vacation to see them.
