I use small amounts of Xanax but have never weaned off.

I'm wondering if you are aware that anxiety itself can cause hot flashes as a symptom? I have them sometimes when my anxiety is roaring. I'm post-menopausal and have had my hormones checked, so it isn't that.

So, I just wanted to share that with you. It might just be the anxiety itself and maybe they will subside as your body adjusts to dealing with the anxiety without Xanax.
