Hey, thanks both of you. This is the hardest thing ever. I wish I could make it easier for her.
I am sorry that you lost your mom so long ago. You must have been so very young. I believe that you miss her terribly.
I guess for now, its so real. The hope part, well I can't help to have lost this. When a doctor tells someone that now its just a "making you comfortable", heart breaking for her.
What do you say to someone? I can tell her how much I love her. I can tell her to vent all she wants. I can tell her to hang in here with us. But I can't tell her that it will be okay. I can't tell her that this is fair. All we can do is pray. Maybe something will suddenly be discovered, a new treatment. I do know they are thinking about something new. Its unlikely to even use, but mention of this as a final attempt is possible. But in reality, her doctor is saying, "I am sorry."
