I liked the way I felt on Zyprexa and didn't really want to change, but my pdoc said the weight gain increased my risk for diabetes and forced the issue. I went from Zyprexa to Seroquel to Lamictal to Abilify, and never became unstable as long as I was on an antipsychotic (the Lamictal made me manic).

Since I don't work, I wasn't scared of the change affecting that, but I can understand your concern. What are you going to do about a pdoc? Have you started looking for a new one? You probably don't want to just drop the Zyprexa without having something to take its place.
