Try and set up an outpatient treatment team - therapist, psychiatrist, dietician, MD - to help support you in the process of cutting back on behaviors and navigating a new relationship with yourself. I won't be quick or easy, but you deserve to have help. The only factor to think about before developing a treatment team is - are you ready to get better? Is it something you want? Because I worked with the best professionals, got treatment at the best centers for years yet I didn't want to change so nothing helped. You don't have to be excited about the prospect of recovery (I've never met anyone who was) but you have to have that little piece of yourself that has hope for a different life. Even if you are ambivalent, that's a fine start. Please keep us updated. Sending strength.
