Thanks. I'm at a company where several coworkers are married. Including lesbian coworkers who are married with children. It's not a huge company, they maintain professionalism and it's not a problem there. My first husband and I did work together, he was promoted to manager. I know the dangers of work involvement, my parents worked together (it's very trying on a marriage).
I am getting adjusted to the work environment. Getting a sense of the people, and realizing he really has a big interest in me. I am extra special, as he stated in training. Still feeling out the situation. It's like a family in a way.
I really laugh because he thinks I'm younger than my actual age. My supervisor is younger than me by about 5 years, he is older than me by like 5 years, so basically a 10 year gap between the two of them he thinks I'm closer to the younger guys age (Ha, genetics). I admit I'm an unintentional flirt, or my behavior is seen as flirtation when I intended it be friendly. So I now realize his introduction to that manager was a test to see if I would be interested in him (he is a single, tall, well built guy). However I'm not attracted to him at all. I'm just thanking my lucky stars I was polite and friendly when I saw him around the office. I had no idea he was a supervisor when I first met him.
My trainer guy has been with the company 20 years, he's well known there, quirks and all. His buddy is my head Manager (married therefore approachable). I'm told consistently to go ask Head Mgr or Asst. Mgr.(female) my questions. Today out of sheer frustration I said to my supervisor (single guy), I was just over to Asst. Mgr, and 5 people were surrounding her with questions, you need to step up and do your job and start answering peoples questions, shocked him a bit but needed to be said. I'm thinking Trainer guy (though attractive, strong insecurity the unwanted child, and really has a big concern about me falling for the supervisor guy). Don't blame him he does grow on a person. LOL
A guy from my class has an interest in me, frankly I just like to talk to him he's far too old for me, but no one not even head mgr likes me talking to him. I couldn't believe what I saw today, he saw me over there than suddenly was rushing over to tell him something, but of course you see a manager coming and your slacking you get your butt back to work quick, which is what I did.
The love interest may not be in the room but his eyes and ears are all around, ready to pounce at the drop of a hat. That much I have figured out. Now I need a little possessive in my life, my 2nd husband didn't give a **** about anything. But there's a fine line here and this level is a bit concerning.
