I think it's fine to "treat" yourself to something nice/special every once in a while when on a diet. As long as it doesn't become a habit. I've been dieting for months too now, and the weight is slowly coming off. But I let myself cheat and have ice cream, every once in a while, when it's hot out. I think I wouldn't be successful at major weightloss if I didn't let myself have the occassional cheat day.
