Also, keep in mind that blushing is one of those things that bothers the person blushing far more than it does other people. I have found it helpful, when I must address people in groups, to look at them for a moment--looking from one person to another to another, smiling, and say "Hello! I'm ... and today I am going to talk about ....". There is no rush; it gives them a chance for us to get used to each other.
