So my pdoc says he has noticed in the past some slight hypomania a few times but nothing like what I am experiencing now. For the last few weeks I have been bouncing off the walls and cleaning everything in sight. I also am barely sleeping and noticed that I am talking more and faster. My pdoc just switched me from Seroquel to Saphris hoping that would help with the weight gain I was having and with the hypomania. So far my appetite has decreased and I have lost 3 pound in 6 days. I am really excited to lose more but I know it isn't guaranteed. But the Saphris isn't helping any with the sleep. I am still just getting 3-5 hours a night. Some nights even less. My group T thinks it could be the antidepressant that I am on causing the hypomania but there is no way I am switching that med because I went through hell and 4 hospital trips and 2 rounds of ECT to find something that worked for my depression.

So I guess what I want to know is what should I expect or look out for once the hypomania starts to fade? I have heard it can knock you into a bad depression.
